Here you find information about the business activities and services of Transaction Software, as well as about planned projects and application possibilities of our products.
V.8.3 extends Transbase® Edge with the Crowd functionality, which allows for a loose combination of databases. Requests to the crowd database are distributed to all connected edge or other crowd databases, whose query results are collected and aggregated. Important to know is: The data do not leave their place of origin. Crowd databases can be nested and cascaded.
You can see a showcase for the use of the crowd function here.
The new version V. 8.2 of Transbase® Edge is general available from May 2019 with the following extensions:
- Math and Statistical Capabilities Extension according to SQL Standard
- JSON Import and Export Functions
- Use of Hardware-Based Cryptographic Encryption if available
- In-memory tables
- Export for other platforms (switching from little-endian to big-endian and vice versa)
Due to the upcoming release of Transbase® Edge V.8.2, we hosted a webinar on the 21st of February 2019 from 10-11.30 am to present the new features and special use cases and to answer on FAQs.
Due to the general release of the new IoT database Transbase® Edge (v. 8.1) in November 2017, we held a webinar on technology updates, the migration options (migration plan) and the subscription model every 2nd Thursday (10-11.30 am) of the month for four consecutive months, beginning November 2017.
Our IoT Database Transbase® Edge with Single Process Architecture and fully functional support of the platforms Android and iPhone is now generally available.
For IoT applications, a demo version of Transbase® is running on Raspberry Pi. Version 1.1. The DB middleware SQP ("Simple Query Protocol") now also supports several databases (Transbase®, PostgreSQL and MySQL).
The Embassy of Canada in Germany, together with the Zentrum Digitisierung.Bayern, AiF Projekt GmbH and the National Research Council Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRTAP) organized a cooperation exchange for companies and research institutions on January 23, 2020.
The aim of this event was to promote cooperation opportunities in industrial research and development, especially in the areas of artificial intelligence and manufacturing, between Canadian and German companies in order to bring new products and services onto the market within three to five years.
We were there and discussed with leading Canadian companies AI & Manufacturing possibilities of cooperation regarding our software solutions Transbase® Edge and C-chain.
On June 7, 2018, the Innovation Day 2018 of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) took place in Berlin.
We were there and presented our SecureBase encryption technology for the secure and convenient exchange of documents in the cloud. Afterwards we held many interesting discussions about this topic.
On October 5, 2017, the IoTcamp2017 by Cassini took place in Munich. We were there and, together with our technology partner fortiss, presented the following topic: How can energy in the home be better utilized?
The successful design of the energy transition goes hand in hand with smart energy use and decentralized energy distribution (Smart Home Scenario). This requires smarter energy networks. The continuous analysis of energy production and energy consumption is crucial for the control of energy production, its feeding into the grids and their use - and thus for the success of the energy transition.
Intelligent Energy Networks - Possible marketing of unused energy potential through Smart Contracts based on Transbase® Edge. Possible challenges are in particular contractual issues and regulations v.a. to the invulnerability of the contract contents and appropriate remuneration (micropayment). Our approach incorporates new technologies such as Blockchain, whose value is still very uncertain in day-to-day operations.
Name of the presenters: Dr. Markus Duchon (fortiss GmbH) and Angelika Hiebl (Transaction Software GmbH). Please also read the session protocol.
We want to continue the topic of smart contracts or the management of digital business processes. Therefore we organize a series of in-house workshops on the subject C-chain. Are you interested in discussing with us? Then contact us with under the title 'C-chain'.
In 2017 Transaction Software GmbH was again at CeBIT and presented:
- Beta version of Transbase® Edge with fully functional support of the platforms Android and iPhone
- SecureBase Version 1.0 (Beta), a framework for end-to-end encrypted database applications, demonstrated using a document archive.
- Vivo, a mobile app developed on behalf of Generali Insurance. Vivo is a multi-functional alarm notification system for Android smartphones and smartwatches.
- Demo version of Transbase® Mobile on Raspberry Pi (IoT applications)
- Simple Query Protocol (SQP) version 1.1, database middleware now supported by multiple databases (Transbase®, PostgreSQL, and MySQL).
Together with our technology partner fortiss, we presented a flexible architecture for the realization of a Smart Micro Grid (SMG). The software uses to automate and monitor buildings, with the integration of energy storage and production facilities enabling energy-optimized operation. The system can be expanded as required and, in addition to the integration of further automation technology, also allows the integration of more complex applications and services. Overall, the SMG2.0 system is a generic monitoring and control platform for IoT applications.
